Always love going to this restaurant! Awesome prime rib and blooming onion, yummy ! Atmosphere is nice and the staff are always friendly and welcoming.
Went here on a Saturday night around 8pm and it was no wait and restaurant was almost empty and it was nice to be out with my newborn in quiet restaurant. Had really friendly waitress and the food came out fresh. 10/10
Stopped at Outback to take advantage of the Walkabout Wednesday special that I just got in my email. Much to our surprise, our server broke the news that they don't offer it. I asked if it's only available for dinner, and she said that they don't offer it at all. :( Instead, she pointed us to the lunch menu. Same offering but without the beverage. The lunch portions were actually just right for me. Not too filling. I can never finish the dinner portions anyway. I ordered the Alice Springs Chicken and my husband ordered the Sweet Chook O' Mine Sandwich.
It's been awhile since I've eaten at this location (we live out of area) but this time was just as good as the last. This time we were a party of five. For an appetizer we had a couple of blooming onions. They were good (as usual), but we all agreed that they seemed to be a bit smaller than ones we have had in the past. I chose the sirloin and coconut shrimp combo. While not tough, the sirloin had a bit of grizzle that I ended up having to spit out. The coconut shrimp was perfect, as was the baked potato. I love it when the potato is rolled in salt, and this was spot on. I DID end up having to ask for more butter.......I don't know why they give you such a small pat of butter for such a huge potato. The salad, while it had plenty of toppings, was just okay....maybe I just wasn't feeling the salad that day. The best part of the entire experience was the wait staff. They were fantastic in accommodating us when we requested a table close to the door due to the fact that my mom can't walk far without assistance. Everyone was very friendly and courteous. The hostess even took the time to take pictures of our group when my sister requested that she do so. We'll be back.
